Restaurant Flooring Project
We have a regular ongoing contract with this large high street retailer providing a full facilities maintenance service throughout a number of their stores. They contacted us to help them with a project to replace the flooring in the public restaurant in their Liverpool store; this involved working closely with their flooring contractor and the on-site staff to remove all the restaurant equipment out of hours (over night) to enable the flooring contractor to replace the vinyl flooring in the restaurant. We then refitted all the apparatus so it was operational again by seven am each morning until the whole floor had been replaced. This involved removing industrial dishwashers, ovens, fridges and all food preparation areas and in the process of the project we identified a need to carry out significant additional works. We were advised by the store manager and the area manager that there would be no added time for this essential work and that it would have to be completed within the same time schedule. At extremely short notice and whilst working out of hours we managed to get the additional work completed and ensure continuity of service for the restaurant with no disruption to the operation of the restaurant throughout the day. By the end of the project, the restaurant had been given a new lease of life at minimal cost and with no disruption to trade. The client had complete faith in us to take full control of the project and we were first point of call for the restaurant manager, store manager, floor contractor, security guard and the area maintenance manager. Throughout our time on site, we managed the project smoothly and efficiently ensuring all problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst making sure the client was kept fully aware of progress.
